Introducing Our New Kubota Mini-Excavator

Progressive Landscapes bought a back-saving mini-excavator, and we're ready to put it to use.

Introducing Our New Kubota Mini-Excavator

Bill & the mighty Kubota KX41-3V (catchy name, right?)

Exciting times here at Progressive Landscapes. We recently bought a mini-excavator from Sharecost (need to get those stickers off still). Louise and I also bought a house that has a landscape I’m in the process of overhauling on my days off (what days off? haha). Below I’ve posted some of the “before” and “in progress” images of our backyard.

When we bought the house, I knew the yard would be a pretty big project, but I have a vision and it’s starting to take shape.

Here’s a decent shot of the “waterfall”, which I’m in the progress of breaking apart (it’s rebarred together and proving to be a bit of a pain to deal with). I will be building a stone retaining wall and stone patio in its place.

In Progress…

Ripped up the orange wooden patio and found this.

Pulled apart the waterfall and this is what it looks like. Yikes.

Next time I update on this, I will have the “after” photos to show. I’m looking forward to that!
